Dave gave his heart to Jesus at the age of 21. Soon after he began to attend Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia with Joe Focht as his Pastor. He began serving in ministry in 1990 working in youth ministry where he met his wife Shanti. He began ministering at Calvary Christian Academy and eventually came on staff at CC Philly as the college and career Pastor.

During that time their family grew with the addition of 5 children. Dave eventually sensed a calling   from the Lord to begin a fellowship in Quakertown. He began teaching a verse-by-verse Bible study in a home. Since then the church moved from a remodeled barn to an office complex in Quakertown and currently has 2 Sunday services and a Thursday evening verse-by-verse study.
